Wiggly Butt Designs was born out of the notion that capitalism and a passion for doing good don't have to be mutually exclusive. After hearing just how desperate local animal shelters were to receive enough funds to stay open & save animals' lives, I knew I had to do something. One day I saw a great t-shirt that read 'this t-shirt saved a life', and while it wasn't related to animals a light bulb went on. Wiggly Butt Designs was born.
Our headquarters are located in Boston, MA but you can find our merchandise online, at fairs and festivals in the warmer months and at select retailers. |

Elaine Sanfilippo, Owner/Operator
I've always loved animals. As a child I had dogs, cats, even a turtle, and loved to volunteer. As an adult though I didn't think my lifestyle couldn't support a pet. Too much travel. Too many late nights at work. Not enough time to give to a pet. When I finally stopped to reprioritize my life I realized that I was thinking about things backwards. If a pet was really important to me, I shouldn't try to make a pet fit with my lifestyle; I should make my lifestyle fit with a pet! Daisy joined our family just a few weeks later. Here at WBD I run the day-to-day operations, though Daisy still calls the shots! If you have any questions or concerns about anything at all, feel free to email me at elaine@wigglybuttdesigns.com
Daisy Sanfilippo, Mascot, Creative Director & Overall Top Dog
Daisy is one of the lucky ones. From a kill shelter in South Carolina, she was transported to a shelter in Massachusetts to find a forever home. As fate would have it, we visited that shelter on the morning Daisy was available for adoption. It was love at first sight. I mean, who couldn't love a basset hound / golden retriever mix? Now Daisy is a celebrity in our neighborhood, spending her days chewing sticks, getting belly rubs and chasing squirrels. She was the original inspiration for Wiggly Butt Designs and you'll find her on our products, our website and even at our dog-friendly events.
